To be sure, we have a sound, viable and realistic program, we have teamed up with the forestry experts at the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Duke University and the experts at the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia to help design and approve our program. They provided scientific background and validation of our methodology and measurability tools.

We know that our members want to be certain that their carbon offset dollars are used appropriately right here in Georgia to get the desired results. Each year independent auditing firms will review our program to ensure that, dollar-for-dollar; your carbon offset contributions match up with our contributions to the Carbon TreeBank. The Carbon TreeBank will retain the services of a Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) certified verification expert to determine the amount of carbon sequestered by the forests in the program. We will report these findings to you annually.
